1-on-1 Wheel Throwing Course - Thursdays

Service Description

Learn the fundamentals of wheel-throwing pottery in a personalized setting! This 7-week course is designed for adults of all skill levels (18+) who want to develop their ceramic skills in a creative and supportive environment. What you'll learn: *Wedging and centering clay *Throwing basic shapes *Surface decoration techniques *Glazing Course details: *7 weeks *$450.00 + GST (includes a bag of clay) *3 hours per week (Thursdays, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) starting January 30th, 2025, and ending March 13th, 2025 *Students are recommended to bring their own basic tool kit (available at Plainsman Pottery Supply, Michael's, or online retailers) Frequently Asked Questions: How should I dress? Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes you don't mind getting clay on. An apron is provided, but you're welcome to bring your own. Consider tying your hair back for convenience. What about clay? The course fee includes one bag of clay. Additional bags can be purchased for $25 each or brought from Plainsman Pottery Supply. Can I cancel after booking? Yes, with at least 10 days' notice via email (info@plantedearthstudios.com) for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 10 days' notice are non-refundable, but we may be able to reschedule you subject to availability. How does the firing process work?
