Frequently Asked Questions
How should I dress?
Feel free to dress comfortably. We provide aprons, but you're welcome to bring your own. To ensure a great experience, avoid long nails and wear closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting a little clay on. Consider tying your hair back to keep it out of the way.
What about tools?
You can bring your own tools or borrow the communal pottery tools in our studio.
What about clay?
Clay is included in the workshop/course fee. If you prefer, you can purchase clay from Plainsman Pottery Supply here in Edmonton.
Can I cancel after booking?
Yes! We understand that plans change. To receive a full refund, please let us know at least 10 days in advance by emailing info@plantedearthstudios.com. Cancellations made with less than 10 days' notice are non-refundable. However, we may be able to reschedule you for another class or workshop, subject to availability.

What is the firing process for my creations?
Once your clay piece is created, it will go through a drying and firing process. We handle this process for you, ensuring your creation is properly cured and ready for use. The typical timeframe for this process is 2-3 weeks.
